The book consists of a generic presentation of the social risks, the object of study of the social security law, the principles and sources of this branch of law as well as the correlation with other law branches; some aspects regarding the social insurance: there are presented and discussed the regulations of the social health insurance – including the vacations and social health indemnities and of the social assistance; there are presented and discussed the regulations regarding the national social assistance system – the basic legislation in the field.
